Wednesday, November 16, 2016

The Oklahoma Tribal Gaming Regulators Association elected a new vice chair at its recent fall meeting.

Jean Ann Blalock, a member of the Quapaw Tribe, was sworn into her position last month. She has more than a decade of experience in tribal government, including as a compliance officer for her tribe's gaming agency, The Miami News-Record reported.

"We are looking forward to the contributions that Jean Ann will be able to make to this organization," a post on Facebook read.

Nearly 30 tribes belong to OTGRA, representing almost all of the tribes in Oklahoma. Its fall meeting was held on the Cherokee Nation from October 17-19.
