First Nations casinos in Saskatchewan recorded record profits, according to figures from the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (http://www.siga.sk.ca).
The four casinos made $40.2 million in profits for the fiscal year that ended in March. That's up from the $33.9 million the year before. CBC News ties the increase to a more than 50 percent decrease in revenues at non-Native casinos operated by the province.
