The Indian gaming industry is worth $22.7 billion, with California tribes leading the way, according to the new Indian Gaming Industry Report released on Wednesday.
California's 57 tribal casinos generated $7.16 billion in revenues last year, the report said. That's an increase of 23.7 percent. The number two state was Connecticut, with $2.33 billion from two casinos. Arizona was third with $1.64 billion from 15 gaming tribes. Oklahoma, with limited forms of Class III gaming, came in fourth with $1.45 billion. Minnesota rounded out the top five with $1.36 billion last year. Get the Story:
