The Ak-Chin Indian Community has a new restaurant for casino patrons to enjoy.
Chop, Block & Brew debuted at the Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Arizona on July 28. Design elements, including photos and artwork depicting reservation life, throughout the 3,454 square-foot eatery reflect tribal culture, an executive said. “It was important to us as we developed this new restaurant that we incorporated the customs and traditions that are important to the Ak-Chin Indian Community,” Robert Livingston, the general manager and regional president of Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, said in a press release. “Working with the art and design committee that was appointed by Chairman Robert Miguel, the community’s history and culture is depicted in the architecture, artwork and colors throughout the restaurant,” Livingston said.
