Navajo Santa spreads Christmas joy in Utah

Navajo Santa and his helpers made their 16th visit to a Navajo community in Utah earlier this month.

Navajo Nation Council delegates and their families spent the year collecting donations and preparing for the celebration in Bluff, Utah. They served 500 people a turkey dinner and presented gifts to members of the community on December 3. The next day, delegate Kenneth Maryboy donned his Santa outfit and made deliveries to Navajo families in need.

This year, the Navajo Santa program also made its second Navajo Santa Goes To School delivery to students in Aneth, Utah.
