Conference addresses Indian Education for All Act

More than 80 educators are meeting in Great Falls, Montana, to discuss the state's Indian Education for All Act.

The law requires public schools to teach about Indian culture and history. But it was never funded or implemented until a state Supreme Court decision forced the state to act.

As a result, most educators are unfamiliar with the law. The Great Falls Public School district organized the conference to help them become more comfortable.
