First Nation's billboard plan sparks controversy

The Squamish First Nation is moving forward with plans to erect billboards on its land in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The tribe is using the billboards to raise revenue. But residents are upset that the signs won't adhere to local laws regarding size and location.

The billboards won't go up until early next year. They will measure 36-feet wide and will be placed on poles as high as 82 feet.
