Minnesota tribes host economic summit


Three Minnesota tribes are hosting an economic development summit and trade show this week.

The White Earth Band, the Leech Lake Band and the Red Lake Nation are hosting the summit. Speakers include "Famous" Dave Anderson, former Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell and National Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernie Stevens.

The summit is being held at the Shooting Star Casino Hotel and Event Center, which is owned by the White Earth Band.
