A delegation from the Navajo Nation entered a trade agreement with the Cuban government on Wednesday.
Navajo Agricultural Products Industry, the tribe's agribusiness, will sell products to Cuba. Rep. Tom Udall (D-New Mexico) called it a historic agreement.
Tsosie Lewis, the general manager of NAPI, said the tribe will study federal regulations that deal with Cuba. NAPI has a contract to sell goods to Mexico.
