Native man is city's first homicide of 2007

Five people have been charged with the murder of Everette Joseph Mantee, a Native man who was the first homicide of the year for Regina, Saskatchewan.

Mantee, a member of the Piapot First Nation, was found dead in a home in Regina on February 5. The father of four was 31.

Five young men, ranging in ages from 19 to 25, have been charged in connection with the death.
