Fire destroys barn on Kickapoo Reservation in Kansas

A fire destroyed a barn and farm equipment owned by the Kickapoo Tribe of Kansas.

The fire occurred Tuesday night. It completely destroyed the barn and machinery at the tribal farm.

The tribe and local authorities are investigating the cause. Other fires have been reported near the reservation, which has suffered from drought conditions for several years.
