Grand Ronde Tribes interested in downtown Salem site

The Confederated Grand Ronde Tribes has expressed interest in purchasing a riverfront property in downtown Salem, Oregon.

The tribe is located about 30 miles west of Salem. Mayor Janet Taylor said the tribe is interested in diversifying its businesses.

Boise Cascade is selling 13-acres on the riverfront and 310 acres on Minto-Brown Island.
