Oneida Nation offers reservation road money

The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin is offering to share its Indian Reservation Roads money with local communities.

The tribe receives money for 35 miles of BIA-managed roads. But with 376 miles of other roads on the reservation, there's an opportunity for local governments to work with the tribe.

The tribe has reached agreements with two counties and several municipalities to add their roads to the IRR list. The deadline for local communities to participate is today.
