Three guilty for hate crime attacks in Utah

Three members of a white supremacist group were found guilty for the racially motivated beatings of an Indian man in Utah.

Shaun A. Walker, 39, Travis D. Massey, 20, and Eric G. Egbert, 22, were convicted of conspiracy to interfere with civil rights and interference with a federally protected activity. The National Alliance members assaulted an Indian man at a bar in March 2003 and targeted a Hispanic man in March 2002.

Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
