Former Tulalip board member to head up housing

A former board member for the Tulalip Tribes of Washington will take over the Housing Department.

Herman Williams Jr. abruptly resigned from the board in February, citing "stupid behavior," The Everett Herald reported. He declined to discuss details but it was apparently related to the tribe's random drug test policy.

Williams told the paper he took a urine test for his new job and "passed." He will take over the housing program by the year's end.
