Water use cleared on Rocky Boy's Reservation

Residents of the Rocky Boy's Reservation in Montana can use their water as long as they boil it for at least one minute, the Chippewa Cree Tribe said on Thursday.

The reservation has been on a no-use order ever since the water system was accidentally contaminated. After 12 days of good tests, the Environmental Protection Agency said it was OK to turn the taps back on.

The tribe will continue to test the water for another week before lifting the boil-water order.
