Infant dumped in river was probably Indian

One of the three infants whose bodies were dumped in the Mississippi River in Minnesota was probably Indian, test results showed.

The infant, a girl, was found three months ago in a marina operated by the Prairie Island Indian Community. Tests showed there was a 70 percent chance she was Indian.

The two other infants were Caucasian and they had the same mother, authorities said. Their deaths were intentional and the result of murder, Goodhue County Sheriff Dean Albers said.
