Potawatomi woman found dead a day after wedding

The FBI is investigating the death of a Potawataomi woman who was killed a day after her wedding.

Loretta Wandahsega, 34, was found dead in her home last Thursday. She was a member of the Hannahville Indian Community of Michigan.

Results of the autopsy are pending but authorities have a suspect in custody. They would not say whether the man was Wandahsega's husband.

Wandahsega was the enrollment officer for her tribe and served on the tribal school boars. She leaves behind a seven-year-old son.
