Rosebud man pleads not guilty to stabbing teen

A man from the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota pleaded not guilty in connection with the stabbing death of a teenage boy.

Melvin Smashed Ice, 38, is charged with second-degree murder. He is accused of killing Bryan Clairmont in June.

Smashed Ice is set to go to trial on October 9. He faces 30 years to life in prison.
