A man from the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana died on Tuesday after a severe beating. Authorities are investigating the death as a possible homicide.
Michael Alan Walling, 22, went out for a walk in the early morning hours of July 19. He was allegedly assaulted by two males.
Walling went to the hospital three times but tests and X-rays revealed nothing, according to his aunt.
Only after he collapsed this past Sunday did doctors discover severe tissue damage and infections.
"There was no chance for him," Carlene Adamson told The Great Falls Tribune.
The death appears to be the second homicide on the reservation this year.
