Tohono O'odham Nation opposes border fence

The Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona doesn't want a border fence crossing its land.

Chairman Ned Norris said the federal government hasn't consulted the tribe about fence plans. But that isn't stopping the Department of Homeland Security from starting work on a fence just a few miles from the reservation.

Norris said the cultural sites in the path of the fence could be affected. Construction on the $31.5 million project starts Monday.
