Omaha toddler's death a mystery one year later

Nathaniel Saunsoci was 20 months old when he died a year ago on Monday but authorities don't seem any closer to explaining what happened.

Nathan was a ward of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. He was in the care of a foster family in South Sioux City when he died on September 24, 2006.

The autopsy found signs of severe injuries and broken bones. But the attorney in Dakota County has yet to bring charges against anyone.

The foster parents have since left Nebraska for the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
