Oregon tribes, state meet for government summit

Oregon held its 10th annual State-Tribal Government to Government Summit on Thursday.

Hundreds of tribal and state officials attended the summit, which was held on the Warm Springs Reservation. They heard from Gov. Ted Kulongoski (D), who said "there is no state that has a better state-to-tribal relationship than Oregon does."

Oregon is home to nine federally recognized tribes.
