Oglala Sioux man elected president of NIEA

Robert Cook, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, has been elected president of the National Indian Education Association.

Cook is a cultural specialist at Crazy Horse Memorial. He 18 years of education and administrative experience.

Cook will start his job in 2009.
