Yakama council member, 79, suspended after DUIs

A 79-year-old council member for the Yakama Nation of Washington was suspended following three DUI offenses.

Leo Aleck was pulled over twice by state police and once by tribal police within a four-week span. Another incident has been alleged in Oregon.

As a result, Aleck faces removal from the tribal council. The tribe's Code of Ethics Board is recommending that he be removed so that he can seek help.
