Tribal colleges hold conference in North Dakota

The American Indian Higher Education Consortium is holding 27th annual conference this week in Bismarck, North Dakota.

More than 1,000 tribal leaders, educators and students are expected to attend the conference, which runs through Thursday. Speakers include Olympic gold medalist, Billy Mills and former Oglala Sioux Tribe President Cecelia Fire Thunder.

AIHEC represents 36 tribal colleges in the U.S. and Canada.
