Tour operators propose limits at Navajo park

A group of tour operator is proposing to limit access to the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in Arizona.

The 15-member Monument Valley Tour Operators Association wants to establish a higher level of service. Association president Howard Simpson says limits would help preserve the park, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

Ray Russell, the director of the Navajo Nation's Parks and Recreation Department, said the group hasn't formally proposed any changes.
