North Fork Rancheria suspends former chairwoman

The North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians of California has suspended former chairwoman Jacquie Davis Van Huss from membership for two years, The Fresno Bee reports.

Van Huss abruptly resigned last month. She now says she was ousted over disputed tribal credit card charges.

The suspension lasts two years. The article doesn't say that what entails for Van Huss.
