Sen. Obama expected to attend Kalyn Free forum
He skipped Prez on the Rez but it looks like Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois) might attend a tribal leader's forum being organized by Democratic activist Kalyn Free.

Free, a member of the Choctaw Nation, said she will hold the forum in New Mexico. "Indians are and can be the pivotal and the deciding factor on who wins the White House," the founder of INDN's List told The Hill.

Obama has been endorsed by a slew of tribal and Indian leaders. His positions on Indian issues, including opposition to legislation that would strip federal funds from the Cherokee Nation over the removal of the Freedmen, helped generate support in Indian Country.
