Tule River Tribe congratulates 155 graduates
The Tule River Tribe of California broke a record this year with 155 graduates.

The tribe held a luncheon for its graduates on Monday. There were 30 kindergarten, 25 sixth-grade, 37 eighth-grade, 48 high school and 20 college graduates.

The eldest graduate was 62-year-old Evelyn Hunter, who received a degree from San Joaquin Valley College. Linda Peterson, 51, received a bachelor’s degree from LaVerne University.

Cynthia Gomez was valedictorian for her class at the University of Northern California Lorenzo Patino School of Law.
