Editorial: Familiar faces for Oneida Nation
"The new Oneida Business Committee that is sworn in today will have a familiar look: With the exception of the tribal chairman, it's the same group as the previous committee.

And the chairman will be Rick Hill, who served on the Oneida Business Committee for 15 years from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, including some time as tribal chairman.

Hill was a steady hand at the helm, and his experience in the interim — eight years as the leader of the National Indian Gaming Commission and seven years running his own economic development firm — can only help him in his new/old role.

Incumbent committee members Patti Hoeft, Ed Delgado, Melissa Danforth and Trish King were all re-elected July 5. Incumbent chairman Gerald Danforth decided not to seek a third term."
