White Mountain Apache water bill sent to Bush
The White Mountain Apache Tribe of Arizona will be able to plan a clean water system under a bill that has been presented to President Bush.

The Senate unanimously passed S.3128 on September 25. The House passed the bill in July.

The bill authorizes a $9.8 million loan to the tribe to plan a dam and reservoir on the Fort Apache Reservation. The loan is to be repaid over 25 years.
