Nevada tribes receive juvenile delinquency grants
The Walker River Paiute Tribe and the Washoe Tribe have received $400,000 in grants to combat juvenile delinquency.

The grants come from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention at the Department of Justice. They will help the tribes reduce delinquency among children ages 6-18.

The office awarded more than $293 million in grants for at-risk and juvenile justice programs nationwide.
