California tribes address domestic violence
For the first time, all eight tribes and four tribal programs in Humboldt County, California, are getting together for a domestic violence conference.

The tribes are working with local and state agencies to help victims of domestic violence. They are spending two days on the Blue Lake Rancheria to obtain training.

American Indian and Alaska Native women suffer from the highest rates of domestic violence in the nation.
