Tulalip Tribes encourage members to vote
The Tulalip Tribes of Washington are taking part in efforts to increase the Native vote.

American Indians and Alaska Natives are only about 2 percent of the state population. But in close elections, their votes could make a difference.

Through Native Vote Washington and the National Congress of American Indians, the Tulalip Tribes have been registering people to vote and helping them with mail-in ballots. Tribal members will gather on November 4 to watch the election results.
