Sen. Johnson easily wins re-election in South Dakota
Voters in South Dakota re-elected Sen. Tim Johnson (D-South Dakota) on Tuesday, casting aside concerns about the senior senator's health.

Johnson suffered a brain hemorrhage in December 2006. He has returned to work in Washington, D.C., and has continued to advocate for tribes as a member of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Johnson easily defeated Republican Joel Dykstra by 68 percent to 32 percent, though not all of the results are in.
