Stillaguamish leader to pay $25.7M for tobacco
The executive director of the Stillaguamish Tribe of Washington agreed to pay $25.7 million as part of his guilty plea for selling untaxed cigarettes.

Eddie Goodridge Jr. is one of four tribal members who sold cigarettes at the Blue Stilly Smoke Shop on the reservation. Federal prosecutors said they failed to pay state taxes.

Goodridge's father, a former chairman of the tribe, and his mother were charged. So was a relative who served on the tribal council.
