Jury still deliberates Narragansett case

After three days of deliberations, a jury in Rhode Island still hasn't reached a verdict in the Narragansett raid case.

On Wednesday, the jury said it was deadlocked on all the charges against seven tribal members -- including Chief Sachem Matthew Thomas -- who were arrested during the state's July 14, 2003, raid of the reservation.

Discussions continued on Thursday after the judge urged the jury to keep working. But there was still no agreement on the case.
