FBI investigates Navajo Nation police shooting
The FBI is continuing its investigation of a police shooting on the Navajo Nation that left one man dead.

Leroy Henderson, 44, was killed when a tribal officer fired at least 11 shots into a vehicle that was involved in a high-speed chase. The driver, David Henderson, was injured but released from the hospital. A passenger, Melvin Begay, was not injured.

The FBI is investigating the men for vehicular battery because the vehicle allegedly charged and struck one of the officers, who was not seriously injured.

The incident is the second police shooting on the reservation in less than a month. In both cases, the chase began off the reservation.
