Colleen Green, a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, is the permanent director of Native American Programs for Central Michigan University.

Green, 34, was serving as interim director since August 2007. Her position was made permanent last month.

Nearly 200 American Indian and Alaska Native students attend CMU.
