Tunica-Biloxi chair honored by state National Guard
The chairman of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe has been honored by the Louisiana National Guard.

Earl J. Barbry Sr. received the Distinguished Civilian Service Medal. He was recognized for his "exceptionally meritorious service in furthering the security and welfare of the state," The Alexandria Town Talk reported.

The tribe has opened its doors to hurricane refugees in recent years.
