Salt River Tribe approves liquor sales in restaurants
Members of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community of Arizona voted last week to allow the sale of liquor at restaurants.

The expansion of the tribe's liquor ordinance was supported by a landowners group called the Salt River Commerce Association. Developers are now trying to lure more businesses to the reservation with the new opportunity.

The tribe already allows liquor sales at casinos, hotels, resorts and golf courses
