Ex-pharmacist accused of theft from Chickasaw Nation
A former pharmacist for the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma will stand trial in federal court for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in medication from the tribe.

Hugh Edward Work, 34, is charged with two counts of embezzlement. The Oklahoman said he was arrested after a tribal and state investigation that turned up narcotics he allegedly stole from the Chickasaw Nation Health System.

Authorities said he stole $100,000 worth of drugs from the pharmacy and sold them to another pharmacist who has pleaded guilty for his role in the crime.
