The Yakama Nation of Washington requires all sex offenders who live or work on the reservation to register with the tribe.
The tribe approved a resolution to create a sex offender registry. Failure to register could lead to one year in jail, a 5,000 fine and probation.
The registration requirement applies to non-Indians as well.
