Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe to meet over military site
The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will meet with Massachusetts National Guard officials to discuss the Massachusetts Military Reservation.

The tribe has ancestral ties to the reservation, a 22,000-acre site on Cape Cod. The tribe has said it would like to reclaim some of the land there.

The meetings could lead to a new agreement over burial grounds and cultural sites at the reservation. The tribe's federal recognition became final in 2007.
