Red Earth celebration next month in Oklahoma
The Red Earth Native American Cultural Festival takes place June 5-7 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

"If you have never been there, you have no idea what you are missing," Lt. Gov. Jari Askins said Monday at the state Capitol, The Oklahoman reported.

The festival features a powwow, parade, art fair and a run/walk. Representatives of more than 100 tribes and First Nations are expected to attend.
