Blood Tribe in mourning after fatal car accident
Five members, including two children, of the Blood Tribe of Alberta were killed in a car accident on Wednesday. Two others were hospitalized with injuries.

A truck carrying the group apparently ran into a backhoe. "It's shocking, it's unbelievable," council member Andrew Bull Calf told The Calgary Herald.

Bull Calf identified the deceased as Clement Wolf Plume, who was in his late 40s; James Wells, who was in his early 30s, and his son Reese Wells, who was 10. A girl, believed to be eight or 10 years old, and another adult were also killed.

Wolf Plume's two sons survived the crash.
