Ross Swimmer joins board of Potawatomi bank
Ross Swimmer, a former chief of the Cherokee Nation, has joined the board of First National Bank and Trust Co., owned by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.

Swimmer recently served as Special Trustee for American Indians during the Bush administration. He also ran the Bureau of Indian Affairs during the Reagan administration.

First National Bank and Trust Co is the largest tribal-owned bank, according to Citizen Potawatomi chairman John "Rocky” Barrett.
