Chickasaw leader named 'Indian of the Year'
Chickasaw Nation Gov. Bill Anoatubby has been named "Indian of the Year" by the American Indian Exposition.

Anoatubby has served as governor since 1987. Since then, the tribe has dramatically increased its land base and now operates more gaming facilities than any other in Oklahoma and in the U.S.

The American Indian Exposition is held annually during the first full week in August.
