Hopi Tribe closes ceremony to non-Indians
The Hopi Tribe of Arizona has closed this year's snake dance to non-Indians, the Associated Press reports.

Mishongnovi village administrator Robert Mahkewa Jr. said illegal photography and a lack of respect led to the decision.

For those who do attend, cameras, cell phones and other recording devices will not be permitted.
